Welcome to Product Bulb! I’m Harini Kannan, a Data Scientist and AI Product Manager with a passion for building impactful, customer-centered AI products.
Product Bulb was inspired by a key moment in my career that revealed a common challenge in AI-driven organizations. I realized that many AI teams, while deeply skilled in technical innovation, often face hurdles in translating their efforts into meaningful product outcomes. In my own experience, I saw how the absence of a dedicated product focus in AI could limit the broader impact of the work, with critical product decisions often approached solely from a technical standpoint. This technical-first perspective, while powerful, sometimes overlooks essential customer insights, leading to a gap between innovation and real-world value—contributing to the statistic we all know too well: over 70% of AI projects do not achieve their intended goals.
Product Bulb exists to bridge this gap. Our mission is to cultivate a space where AI professionals can strengthen their customer and product understanding, combining technical excellence with strategic insights that make a measurable difference.
